Our History

1998 - Founded as Oak Mountain Classical School
1999 - School opened with 80 students in K5 through 5th grade
2000 - Added 6th and 7th grades
2001 - Added 8th grade
2002 - Added 9th grade
2003 - Added 10th grade
2004 - Added 11th grade; created the Upper School
2005 - Added 12th grade; Inaugural "Grand Tour" (senior trip to Greece and Italy)
2006 - Upper School accredited by SACS; Graduated first senior class
2007 - Changed name to The Westminster School at Oak Mountain
2008 - Became full members of Alabama High School Athletic Association

2009 - Celebrated the 10th anniversary of the school

2010 - Introduced current Headmaster, Robbie Hinton
