Kindergarten

Kindergarten at Westminster is a joyful and intentional starting point for a child’s education. Rooted in our mission to build Christ’s kingdom by equipping students with wisdom, eloquence, and virtue, our Kindergarten program nurtures a child’s love for learning while laying the groundwork for strong academic and spiritual growth.
Our curriculum blends rich content with age-appropriate instruction. Students explore the Old Testament using The Child’s Story Bible and participate in our Scripture Memory Program. They build strong phonics and handwriting skills through the Riggs Institute method and enjoy classic read-alouds like The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Little House in the Big Woods. Math is hands-on with Saxon 1, and students begin to understand God’s world through science topics such as animal classification, plant growth, and the five senses.
Through it all, we pray our youngest students grow not only in knowledge, but in wonder, delighting in the beauty of learning and the goodness of the One who made them.
