We’re thrilled that you’re considering Westminster School at Oak Mountain for your family. Our admissions process is designed to help us get to know your child and your family while giving you a deeper understanding of our mission, community, and academic programs. We invite you to take the next step by submitting an application for admission. We look forward to walking alongside you throughout this journey and hope to welcome you into the Westminster community soon.

The application fee is $300. If your child is not offered a spot, we will refund $225 of the application fee.  Current Westminster families and OMPC members must apply by January 9 to receive priority consideration.

As part of the admissions process, we invite children to participate in a simple assessment to help us understand their readiness for the Westminster classroom. Kindergarten testing typically takes place in late winter, while assessments for 1st–12th grades are scheduled individually. Our goal is to ensure that each student is placed in an environment where they can thrive and grow.

If your child seems to be a good fit for Westminster after the application review and assessment, we’ll invite you to a parent interview. This conversation is an important part of the process, allowing us to get to know your family more personally and share more about how we partner with parents to build Christ’s kingdom through wisdom, eloquence, and virtue.

Following your parent interview, you can expect to hear from us within two weeks. If your child is offered admission, we’ll send you an enrollment packet with everything you need to take the next step in joining the Westminster community.

In addition, prospective students in grades 5 and above who have successfully completed the testing process are invited to spend a day on campus to experience life at Westminster. They'll be paired with a current student of the same age and gender to help them feel welcomed and at home.
