 New Student Admission Process

  2. Complete an ApplicationThe application fee is $300. If your child is not offered a spot, we will refund $225 of the application fee.  Current Westminster families and OMPC members must apply by January 9 to receive priority consideration.
  3. Read Wisdom and Eloquence by Evans and LittleJohn. You may obtain a copy from the school. We also highly recommend reading  Parenting  by Paul David Tripp for an understanding of the school’s approach to discipline.
  4. Testing: Kindergarten testing will be in late winter. Testing for 1st-12th Grade will be scheduled. The assessment is used to determine if your child is ready for the Westminster classroom. 
  5. Shadow Days: Prospective students in grades 5 and above who have successfully completed the testing process are invited to visit and experience a day in the life at Westminster. They will be matched with a current student of the same age and gender.
  6. Parent Interview: If the committee decides to move forward with your student's admissions file after the application review and testing process is completed, then a parent interview will be set up.
  7. Enrollment: Within two weeks of the interview you will be informed in writing as to whether or not your child has been accepted. If admitted you will receive an enrollment packet.
