Support Knights Fund

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Many of you we have known for many years; it has been our joy to work alongside and serve you. We are Dale and Melissa Carrell. Dale teaches science and coaches in the Upper School, and Melissa teaches first grade. We’ve been part of the Westminster community since Dale joined the faculty in 2001. We raised our four boys in this school, and Westminster played an essential role in who they are today. Through the years, they learned to think, reason, and communicate with clarity and conviction. In every classroom, they experienced the Gospel of Jesus Christ lived out by teachers who faithfully shepherded them in Truth. What a blessing it was to experience Westminster together as a family! 

Years ago, a parent donated an incubator and asked if we’d like to hatch some chicken eggs. It fit perfectly into the first-grade curriculum, and it’s now a beloved Westminster tradition. Our very first chick was named Bob, and students still return to see the next generation of chicks hatch each spring. Though small, it’s a great example of what the Knights Fund makes possible: enriching classroom experiences that bring learning to life. These gifts may not be mission-critical, but they make an incredible impact on our students and their love of learning.

We are deeply grateful that Westminster continues to keep the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the heart of all we do. Thank you for the countless ways you invest in this mission every day. We trust that God will accomplish His purposes for our school, and we know He often works through the prayers and generosity of His people. We invite you to prayerfully consider how God might lead you to support the Knights Fund through faithful prayer, a monetary gift, or both. While our administration has provided some incentives, we understand that each person must prayerfully decide how they feel led to give.

May we, as a community, continue to pray in faith for God’s blessings upon Westminster, that we might prosper in His purpose and continue to teach our students to lean on Him in all they do. Together, we grow in faith. Together, we strengthen our mission.
