Dear Westminster Grandparents,

One of our most memorable experiences at Westminster was celebrating our granddaughter Charli’s graduation from the Lower School to the Upper School. After a beautiful program in the sanctuary with singing, Latin recitations, and recognition of each student, we lined “The Tunnel” to cheer as the graduates proudly walked through this meaningful rite of passage. It was a joyful day for families and the entire Westminster community.

As grandparents, we are deeply grateful that Westminster’s teachers and staff are helping educate our legacy, our grandchildren. They are the ones who will one day shape future generations. Attending school events gives us opportunities to connect with students, parents, grandparents, teachers, and staff. We have found a place to belong, a community that allows us to stay present and engaged in our grandchildren’s lives.

Reading some of the same books our grandchildren study has also drawn us closer. It shows them we care about what they are learning and reminds us that lifelong learning is a legacy worth passing down. Without Westminster, our connection might be limited to a few texts or FaceTime calls. But here, we have the chance to show up, to be part of their world, and to help point them to Jesus.

One way the Knights Fund can benefit Westminster is by supporting classroom needs and teacher development. This is a way we can express gratitude to the faculty who pour into our grandchildren each day and help them to continue their work as faithful kingdom builders.

We invite you to prayerfully consider supporting the Knights Fund. Your gift, whether large or small, sustains our teachers, enriches classrooms, and helps strengthen Westminster’s mission for generations to come. As the year draws to a close, please consider a year-end gift to the Knights Fund. Every contribution is tax-deductible and directly supports the people and programs that make Westminster such a special place for our grandchildren.

With gratitude,

Bill and Becky Loftin
